19th C. Sprigged Enamelled Soft Paste Pocelain Cup & Saucer c1840Here is a pretty soft paste porcelain cup and saucer dating to about 1840. This is decorated all over in a delicate multicolored sprigged enameling. The cup measures 2 1/2" in height. It has a bit of gravelly frit on the inside bottom...bits of undissolved bone ash typical of these early soft paste pieces. The saucer is 5 3/4" in diameter. Both pieces are in perfect clean condition. $22.00
